Bethesda’s upcoming next-generation RPG game Starfield will be released in the first half of next year. The game will launch on PC and Xbox Series S/X. Bethesda announced it on Sunday at Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase 2022. During the showcase event, Bethesda also showed off the gameplay of Starfield, revealing that gamers will get to experience more than 1,000 planets in the game. This will involve building bases on each planet, and combat in space using your starship. The game was expected to arrive in November this year but got delayed for some reason. The game will be available on day one for Xbox Game Pass members.

According to Bethesda, the Starfield has been established in the year 2330 and offers a vast range of customization options while making the Hero. Unlike the city of New Atlantis, which has landing zones, players can go anywhere on a planet. They’ll have to establish outposts or bases, which will be used to upgrade gear and upgrade weapons, as well as harvest supplies to avoid threats in the area.

According to Howard, some planets would be extremely barren with lots of resources, while others would be home to wildlife. During Starfield, players will encounter non-playable characters (NPCs) with whom they can interact and be hired to work at various outposts.

Outposts won’t be the only things players will have to work on when Starfield releases next year. Each Starship will be upgradeable, which will include upgrading the engine, weapon system, and protective shield. Meanwhile, the interior and exterior of the Starship can also be customized.
