Jio launches its first Game Controller: Check out price and features



Jio has launched the all-new Jio Game Controller in India. It is a wireless gaming controller that is equips with a long-lasting rechargeable battery. It sports a classic and lightweight design with a familiar button layout. This controller is said to be compatible with a wide range of Bluetooth-enabled Android devices. It houses two vibration motors and two pressure-point triggers for an immersive gaming experience. Furthermore, the company claims that the all-new Jio Game Controller has a wireless range of up to 10 meters.

It has 20 buttons and 2 sticks to control the game. Jio claims it offers low latency and up to 8 hours of playtime. The Jio Game Controller provides an immersive experience with two vibration feedback motors, two pressure-point triggers, and an 8-direction arrow button, says Jio.

Jio Game Controller Price in India

Jio Game Controller is priced at Rs 3,499 for buyers in India and you can buy the device from the Jio website today. It comes in a single matte black color option. Jio promises delivery of the product within 3 to 5 business days. features a 20-button layout, including two pressure-point triggers and an 8-direction arrow button. There are also two joysticks. This controller equips with two vibration feedback motors and supports haptic control. The controller measures 153x58x110mm in dimensions and weighs about 200g.


Jio is also offering the Game Controller through EMI options. The company advises using the Jio Game Controller with the Jio’s set-top box to maximize the gaming experience. The Game Controller may not be available across all the locations. You need to check its availability by providing the PIN code of your area. Cash on delivery mode is not supported across the delivering PIN codes.

The controller is compatible with Android tablets, Android TV and Android, and the Jio Set-top box. However, it is not compatible with PlayStation and Xbox. It comes with features like Bluetooth v4.1 technology for a low latency connection. It offers a wireless range of up to 10 meters.

As far as details of this newly launched service are concerned, Jio said that it has already installed a full capacity tower at Sonprayag, which is one of the key halt locations in the Kedarnath trek route. The company plans to install five more towers between the Kedarnath Shrine and Gaurikund. Of these, Jio, which is one of India’s largest telecom operators has already installed telecom towers at Chhoti Lincholi, Lincholi, and Rudrapoint. It plans to install two more telecom towers on this route soon.
