In a series of tweets, Ola CEO Bhavish Agarwal has shared a lot of information about the upcoming Ola electric car and the MoveOS 3 update for the S1 series of Ola electric scooters. In a tweet confirming the company’s ongoing work on its electric car.  Agarwal said, ‘We are going to make the sportiest car ever in India!’ In his tweet, Agarwal shared a short video clip looking at the silhouette of the upcoming Ola electric car. From what is visible, the EV could be a 4-door sedan.

Some details have been shared on the MoveOS3 software update.

Agarwal has shared some details on the upcoming MoveOS3 software update that will be coming soon to the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro electric scooters. The Ola CEO revealed that the OS update will be made public around Diwali, during the festive season. His tweet states that features like Hill Hold, Proximity Unlock, and Key Sharing will be available in MoveOS 3. Apart from this, brake regeneration version 2, hyper charging, and other features are also expected to be included in the latest update.

Ola currently sells the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro electric scooters across India.

The demand for these electric two-wheelers has been high, but the sales numbers have been declining in the last few months.

The past few months have not been good for Ola, as Ola has faced criticism on social media due to frequent fire incidents in electric scooters. Ola’s electric scooter caught fire in the summer, after which people started losing trust in Ola’s electric scooters. Now Ola is trying to woo more users by bringing new technology and moving to dew update to the electric scooter.
