- Apex Legends Mobile India beta pre-registration goes live.
- It seems that the game will initially be rolled out for new and high-end Android phones.
- Players can have a taste of early gameplay right from the start of May.
Apex Legends is now available for pre-registration for gamers in India and the Philippines. The game is developed and published by Electronic Arts.
EA also confirms that the game will be launched “specially” for mobile gamers, meaning it will not support cross-platform functionality. This will not let players on console or PC compete against those on mobile. The Apex Legends Mobile is going to be launched on Android phones first, with iOS rollout confirmed in the near future.
It will be free-to-play just like on PC and consoles. It will come with its own Battle Pass, collectible cosmetics, and unique unlockables that will be different from PC and console versions of the game. Respawn, the developer of Apex Legends, has set up a dedicated team for Apex Legends Mobile.
Apex Legends is somewhat like a mix of the famous PUBG and Fortnite. It adds a twist to the classic battle royale action of PUBG or Call of Duty Mobile with fancy animation effects similar to but not quite as much as Fortnite. This means you can expect to play with various characters, each having a special ability, across a range of maps.
EA hasn’t announced a release date for the beta version yet; hence you will need to wait for the Play Store to notify you or auto-download the game on your device. EA states a release period of Spring 2021.
Apex Legends Mobile Beta Requirements
Assuming EA sticks to what we had reported prior, spec requirements would include an A11 Bionic and above for iOS which would suggest that- an iPhone 8 and above would be enough to run Apex Legends Mobile. As for Android devices, at the moment it appears that those with a Snapdragon 625 or above would be enough to play the game.
You can also Pre-Register yourself in the Google Play Store to install the game ahead of its global launch. Hence, if you want to try your luck, head over to the Google Play Store and search for the same name.
