Jio and MediaTek announce Gaming Masters 2.0 tournament

Jio and MediaTek have launched the second edition of their e-sports tournament ‘Gaming Masters 2.0’ which will feature Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), the Indian version of PUBG Mobile. This game is published by South Korean company Krafton and developed by PUBG Studio. The e-sports tournament will have a prize pool of Rs 12.5 lakh. Players who want to participate in this tournament (BGMI Tournament) can register now. The last edition included Garena Free Fire and registered over 14,000 teams.

How to register for ‘Gaming Masters 2.0’

To register for the ‘Gaming Masters 2.0’ tournament, players need to visit the website https://play.jiogames.com. Both Jio and non-Jio users can register for this tournament and there is no need to pay any fees to participate.

Those who want to watch this ‘Gaming Masters 2.0’ tournament of BGMI (PUBG MOBILE) can watch it live on Jio, JioGames Watch, JioTV HD Esports Channel, Facebook, and JioGames YouTube channel.

Teams will fight for a prize pool of Rs 12.5 lakh

As per the information available on the official platform, the ‘Gaming Masters 2.0’ tournament will last for three months. It will start on 23rd November and end on 10th January. Qualifier 1 part will start from 23rd November and will continue till 27th November. Similarly, Qualifier 2 part will start from 30th November to 4th December, Qualifier 3 part will start from 7th December to 11th December. Thereafter, the last Qualifier 4 part will be held from December 14 to December 18. The ‘Road to Finale’ will be played after the qualifiers, which will start on December 21.

For those who want to watch the tournament, all the matches will be streamed live on Jio, JioGames Watch, JioTV HD Esports Channel, Facebook, and JioGames YouTube channel.

Recently, BGMI developer Krafton announced that players from India will be able to qualify for the e-sports medal event at the Asian Games 2022, which will be held in Hangzhou, China from September 10 to 25. Players in this event are League of Legends, Arena of Valor, EA Sports FIFA, Dota 2, Hearthstone, Street Fighter 5 ) and other games like Dream Three Kingdoms 2.
