Diablo Immortal – No Sound; How to Fix It?

Diablo Immortal

Diablo Immortal, the free-to-play spin-off to the legendary action RPG series Diablo, is now available to play in the open beta phase. Nevertheless, since it’s meant to be a test period, the fanbase has encountered some weird quirks about the game. One of the most annoying ones is the bug that mostly affects mobile players, where the game doesn’t output any music and sound at all for some reason. While waiting for a patch, Diablo Immortal players have found various workarounds that might fix the no sound issue/bug for you as well.

How to Fix No Sound in Diablo Immortal

The first thing that you should do after downloading and starting Diablo Immortal on your iOS device is to also download and install the additional Audio Resources. The first time you open the game, look for the Download Manager which is located at the top right corner. There, you will be able to download additional game files, such as these Audio Resources.

If this doesn’t work, you can also try to turn off some background apps that can mess with and disable in-game sound – such as Spotify. The next method is to attach some Bluetooth headphones (like Airpods) to your iOS device. Also, some players have reported that they managed to get sound in Diablo Immortal once they turned off the Do Not Disturb option. Currently, these are the only methods that have worked. The game is only just out and Blizzard is no doubt aware of this issue. While there still hasn’t been a hotfix, we can probably expect one soon. In the meantime, we hope that one of these workarounds will help you get sound in Diablo Immortal.

If you don’t have sound in the game, make sure you download Audio Resources. To do this, press the Download Manager in the upper right corner and swipe right until you see the Audio Resources pack. If after downloading it still, nothing has changed, you can try restarting your phone or choosing the “repair client” option. Noteworthy, some players solved the issue by starting the game with BlueTooth headphones active. If none of these options worked, you can also reinstall the game or wait until the appropriate patch is released.
