GTA 6 Trailer 2: Expected to Drop in Early April, According to Reports

Fans of Grand Theft Auto 6 have been eagerly waiting for any new updates about the game since its first trailer dropped in December 2023. With Rockstar Games keeping all details under wraps, the wait for the second trailer has now stretched beyond 480 days.

Although GTA 6 is still officially scheduled for a Fall 2025 release, there has been little to no new information from Rockstar. However, a recent rumor suggests that the second trailer might arrive in early April.

How Fans Tried to Predict the Trailer Release

For over a year, fans have been busy speculating when the next trailer would drop. One of the most popular theories involved moon phases seen in promotional images for Grand Theft Auto Online. Some players believed that Rockstar was secretly hinting at the trailer release date based on real-world lunar cycles.

While this theory was ultimately debunked, a new, more credible prediction has emerged, possibly revealing when fans can expect the next big look at GTA 6.

A Trusted Source Predicts Early April Trailer Release

According to GTA VI O’Clock, a well-respected group of content creators and journalists in the Grand Theft Auto community, the second GTA 6 trailer could arrive in early April.

In their first-ever newsletter, GTA VI O’Clock explained the long gap between trailers and pointed out that Rockstar typically starts its marketing campaign about six months before a major release. This pattern suggests that the second trailer could come in late March or early April.

More importantly, the group claimed that they had received a “credible tip-off” confirming an April release for the trailer.

Does the Delay Mean a Possible Game Delay?

Because of the long wait between trailers, some fans have worried that GTA 6 might be delayed beyond its Fall 2025 launch window.

However, Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two Interactive, recently reassured investors that the game is still on track for a Fall 2025 release. While Take-Two’s CEO, Strauss Zelnick, admitted that unexpected delays can happen, he expressed confidence that Rockstar will be able to meet its release schedule.

Possible Release Date: October or November 2025?

Although Rockstar has not yet announced an exact release date, fans have been trying to predict when GTA 6 will launch.

A major clue comes from another Take-Two game: Borderlands 4, which has been confirmed for a September 2025 release. Since Take-Two wouldn’t want two major games launching too close together, many fans believe GTA 6 is likely to arrive in late October or early November 2025.
