New Features of iOS 16 Update
iOS 16.1 expands Live Activities to third-party apps in the App Store. The feature allows iPhone users to stay on top of real-time events. It includes a sports game or a food delivery order, right on the Lock Screen or in Dynamic Island. Live Activities appear at the bottom of the Lock Screen on iPhone 13 models and earlier,
2) Battery Percentage Indicator
After receiving a fair amount of criticism in the initial release of iOS 16, Apple has tweaked the behavior of the new battery percentage indicator in the status bar. Now the battery icon will gradually fill and empty depending on how much juice is left even with the percentage showing. In iOS 16.0 the icon stayed full until it dipped below 20 percent.
iCloud Shared Photo Library is now back. It will be available in iOS and iPadOS 16.1 and macOS Ventura. This feature will make it easier for you to share photos with your family members or friends in the Photos app. You can add up to five other people to add, edit, or remove photos in a shared library accessible via iCloud.
4) Battery Percentage on more Phones
Battery Percentage Indicator features were limited to a few iPhones. The iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 mini, and iPhone 13 mini users did not get this feature. With iOS 16.1, it brings Battery Indicator to all the devices
