Jio Fiber has upgraded its postpaid subscription options. The company has introduced 6 ‘Entertainment Plans’. These plans are being promoted under ‘Zero Entry Cost’ for new customers. Starting at Rs 399 per month, the new Jio Fiber postpaid plan offers access to 14 over-the-top (OTT) content. Users will have to pay an additional 100 or 200 rupees for this, depending on their plan. The plans include OTT like Disney Hotstar, Zee5, Eros Now and SonyLIV. The special thing is that existing prepaid users can also migrate to the new Jio Fiber postpaid plan. Jio has told that Jio Fiber postpaid plans are available for all users from April 22.

According to the company, new Jio Fiber users who sign up for any postpaid entertainment will not have to pay any ‘entry cost’. For this, the company is providing the necessary internet box (gateway router), set-top box and installation without any additional cost. However, customers will have to signup for at least three months. The company says that doing so will help it cover the installation cost.

Also, existing Jio Fiber users can migrate to one of the new postpaid entertainment plans using the MyJio app. If an existing user does not have a set-top box to access OTT apps, they can schedule an appointment for the delivery of the free unit. Jio’s new plans start from Rs 399 and go up to Rs 3,999 per month. Unlimited internet is available with them.

If you understand the new plans in detail, Jio Fiber plans of Rs 399 and Rs 699 do not have access to any OTT platform. However, users can get access to 6 OTT apps by paying Rs 100 more, while access to 14 apps can be found by paying Rs 200.

These 14 apps include Disney Hotstar, Zee5, SonyLIV, Voot, SunNxt, Discovery, Hoichoi, ALTBalaji, Eros Now, Lionsgate, and ShemarooMe, Universal, Voot Kids, and JioCinema. Apart from this, users can also get subscriptions of Amazon Prime and Netflix.
