Want to grab a unit of the PS5 for yourself? Sony is giving you another chance. The next pre-order date for the Playstation 5 is set for March 24. The pre-orders will begin at 12PM IST. The delivery timeline hasn’t been officially revealed yet but, as per industry insider Rishi Alwani, deliveries should begin from April 8.

PlayStation 5 will be available to pre-order in India on March 24, 2022, at 12 PM noon. The PS5 restock will be conducted on Sony’s official online store ShopAtSC.

The PS5 restock India has been announced officially by Sony through its online store ShopAtSC. As seen during the previous PS5 restocks in India, other retailers such as Amazon, Flipkart, Reliance Digital, Croma and Vijay Sales are also expected to feature small restocks of the PlayStation 5. It is important to note that the last sale of PS5 in India was conducted recently on February 22, 2022.

The PS5 restock will be conducted on Sony’s official online store ShopAtSC.

PS5 price in India and how to buy

The PS5 price in India is Rs 39,990 for the Digital Edition and Rs 49,990 for the Blu-ray version. As usual, it will be available for purchase through Amazon, Flipkart, ShopatSC, Reliance Digital, PrepaidGamerCard, Vijay Sales, GamesTheShop, and more. PS5 will be up for pre-orders on March 24th at 12 PM IST. Fair warning, there are chances some of the pre-orders may be canceled considering the limited supply issue that Sony is struggling to overcome.

Specifications

Sony has introduced two models of the PS5 this time. One that comes with Blu-Ray disc and other that doesn’t, which it calls Disc-less digital-only edition. The gaming console is backward compatible with PS4 as well. What this means is that popular PS4 titles are playable on the PS5. It packs 16GB GDDR6 RAM with a memory bandwidth of 449GB/s and it has 825GB of usable internal storage for games.

The Blu-Ray model comes with a 4K UHD drive, USB HDD support, 2.1HDMI port and NVMe SSD slot for an expansion card of up to 1TB. It is powered by an octa-core CPU with Zen 2 cores at 3.5GHz. It is claimed to operate at 10.28 TFOPs and 36 CUs at 2.33GHz.
