Redmi has finally confirmed the India launch date of its Redmi Note 11 Pro series of smartphones in India. The Redmi Note 11 Pro lineup, which is now confirmed to include the Redmi Note 11 Pro and the Redmi Note 11 Pro+, will launch in India on March 9th.

The brand has confirmed the launch date of the devices via its official social media handles. The promotional material for the Redmi Note 11 Pro series confirms some of the specifications and features as well. Let’s take a look.

Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro+ features

This “Mega” launch event will be live-streamed on the company’s YouTube and other social media platforms. These upcoming smartphones will get features like an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 67W charger, and a 108MP camera. The Redmi Note 11 Pro featured MediaTek Helio G96 chipset. It got a battery of 5,000mAh. The Redmi Note 11 series is announced with MIUI 13. The Redmi Note 11 Pro is likely to get a 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and punch hole design.

The quad rear camera on the phone consists of a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It has a 16-megapixel selfie shooter on the front. Connectivity options on the Redmi Note 11 Pro include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, GPS, Bluetooth v5.20, NFC, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.

Xiaomi would like to plan the Redmi Note 11 Pro under 20k while the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus will go beyond 25k. They are likely to debut on Amazon. Both these phones should be positioned above the Redmi Note 11S which starts at Rs 16,499. Logically, they should also cost less than the Xiaomi 11i which is priced at Rs 24,999. So, in all likeliness, the phones should cost around Rs 20,000. However, Redmi is yet to speak anything on this. We should expect more details as the launch nears.
