Rainbow Six Siege has been one of the most popular shooter games on PC and consoles for years, and just a few months after its sequel’s launch, a new title in the series is on its way. Today, Ubisoft has revealed that “Rainbow Six Mobile” is coming to Android and iOS. In development for the past three years, “Rainbow Six Mobile” aims to be the “best tactical shooter game on mobile.” The competitive shooter pits two teams of five players against each other and mostly adapts the best of Siege for mobile devices.

The Rainbow Six Mobile is now available on PlayStore for pre-registration. You can easily pre-register for the Rainbow Six Mobile game on Google Play Store. Just make sure you have an active internet connection and a capable handset that has the latest Android version and hardware to run this game smoothly. For registrations follow the steps below:

  • Open Google Play Store Application.
  • Search Rainbow Six Mobile.
  • You will see the game from Ubisoft Developers. Tap on it.
  • Now, click on the Pre-register tab.
  • You” see a notification stating “We’ll notify you when this game is released”. There will be two options “Install when available” and “Got it”. Select the former to install this game automatically on your device.

Ubisoft explains:

“While the core gameplay, characters, and maps may share similarities with Siege, we’ve rebuilt everything from the ground up with mobile usability in mind. We have put a lot of work under the hood to adapt the Siege experience for mobile devices. This includes an entirely new gameplay control system developed specifically for mobile and extensive optimization of the UI and in-game visual presentation”.

During the announcement trailer in April this year, the company revealed that R6 Mobile would feature two maps, Bank and Border, at its launch. However, the official website also mentioned that the new map will be revealed soon for all operators. Both maps were first included in the PC and console title, Rainbow Six Siege. The Bank map is located in the middle of a highly populated city in Los Angeles, California. The Border map is located on the border of two countries in the Middle East and is composed of both new and old buildings. A total of 16 operators will be available at launch and each will have unique skills and gadgets. The title will have two types of operators: Attackers and Defenders, each with eight characters.
