Twitter Down? Netizens face problem in accessing feed page, web users affected

Microblogging site Twitter is down for desktop users. Twitter users have been facing problems while accessing the platform since Friday Morning. Many users are complaining that they are unable to log into the website. Users have trouble accessing their Twitter feed since they can’t see anything on the microblogging page. Whereas the Twitter app is doing well.

The platform shows a message on the website that reads, “Something went wrong, but don’t fret — let’s give it another shot.”

One of the Outage detecting sites – Downdetector, acknowledges the flagged-up issue with the platform. According to the reports, the outage began at 3 am and started causing problems for all the users at 7 am. Users around the world are hit. However, the outage is limited to Twitter’s website on PC; the app is working well.

Twitter Website has been down since 3 am.

According to Downdetector, there have been over 135 reports of outages on the platform until 8:25 am, of which about 95 percent of reports were related to the Twitter website and the rest to the app.

One of the Twitter users wrote:

“I’m unable to access Twitter and getting an error prompt…Something went wrong, but don’t fret — let’s give it another shot. Try again”

Recently, Another Social Media Platform faced a similar Outage problem. Thousands of Instagram users from all over the world reported issues as the outage began Monday morning. It locks users out and informs many of them that “we suspended your account.” According to Daily Record, the platform confirmed the issue on Twitter and apologized for it.

“We’re aware that some of you are having trouble accessing your Instagram account.” We’re looking into it and apologize for the inconvenience,” the company tweeted.

Instant Messaging platforms also faced an Outage during Diwali week. The users failed to send wishes to their loved ones through this platform.

Elon Musk fired all the top Executives of Twitter.

After Elon Musk Acquisition, the Company is undergoing extensive changes in administration, policies, and even the revenue model. We can’t be sure if this downtime is planned for the release of any of the new features promised by Elon Musk in the past week. Presently, Twitter has more than 2 billion users worldwide.

After becoming the leader of Twitter, Elon Musk began his firing process by laying off the company’s top executives, including former CEO Parag Agrawal, former policy head Vijaya Gadde, and former CFO Ned Segal. Firing them immediately has also led to a massive bill for Musk. Agrawal’s payout is expected to go as high as Rs 470 crore. The total payout to all three executives is expected to go beyond Rs 1000 crore.

Besides this, Elon plans to cut costs by laying off 50 percent of the Employees. He sent mail to the Employees and asked them to go home until they were notified otherwise. However, there’s no evidence that the outage is linked to this.

According to a memo, The Employees will receive a mail today confirming whether they have been laid off.

“We acknowledge this is an incredibly challenging experience to go through, whether or not you are impacted,” the memo read.

The Platform is undergoing many changes, All thanks to Elon Musk. The Platform has not released any statement regarding the outage yet.
