Video conferencing platform Zoom has launched ‘Zoom Events. This will enables users to produce immersive and engaging virtual experiences on one platform, in India. According to the Company, Zoom Events combines the reliability and scalability of Zoom Webinars, Zoom Meetings, and Team Chat in one comprehensive solution for event organizers. This provides the ability to produce live events for internal or external audiences of almost any size.

“The preference for virtual and hybrid events is growing as people continue to look for flexibility in how they connect, learn, work and attend events,” Sameer Raje, General Manager and Head of India and SAARC Region at Zoom, said in a statement.

Since the launch,  more than 7,000 customers have been using Zoom Events, and the platform has averaged more than 150 events daily. It also hosted Zoomtopia 2021 on Zoom Events, delivering the latest and greatest in the world of communications to more than 30,000 virtual attendees worldwide.

Zoom Events enables businesses across industries to seamlessly host virtual and hybrid experiences. It includes company events like all-hands and sales summits and external events like user conferences.

Speaking on some of the benefits of using Zoom Events, the company further said that the new solution not only increases collaboration and learning through meetings and webinar sessions, much more effectively than similar ones available in the market but also simplifies post-event content management and on-demand viewing and even delivers comprehensive analytics and reporting to track attendee engagement.

Revenue in the Collaboration Software segment will be going to reach $157.30 million in 2022, said research firm Statista. Expectations that the revenue to show an annual growth rate (CAGR 2022-2027) of 11.67%, resulting in a market volume of $273.10 million by 2027, it said.
