Mahindra Group, associated with businesses ranging from Automobiles to IT, has announced its foray into the Metaverse. Group Chairman Anand Mahindra has announced this. Mahindra gave this information by releasing a video on Twitter and explaining how people can participate in the vision of the group through this. He tweeted, “Join us as we enter Mahindra’s metaverse. These will include Metaverse-based car dealership DealerVerse and NFT marketplace Middlemist. Mahindra & Mahindra recently forayed into the non-fungible token (NFT) segment. Tokens associated with the company’s sports utility vehicle Thar will be issued. For this, the help of Mahindra Group’s IT company Tech Mahindra will be taken.
Too many companies planning to get into the metaverse

Creators like the gaming industry are expected to play a major role in driving the metaverse forward. Using blockchain technology in NFTs, tokens of unique items are authenticated which are linked to reproducible digital assets. These can include art, music, in-game items, and videos. These can be traded online but cannot be duplicated. International financial services company American Express is also preparing to enter the Metaverse and NFT segments.
