Apple’s iPhone 14 is just 2 months old. However, iPhone users are excited for the next one. We are almost a year away from iPhone 15 launch. Still, if you are curious and can’t wait to get all the updates regarding iPhone 15, this post is for you. Here are all the iPhone 15 rumors that circulating on the Internet right now:

iPhone 15 Release Date

We are quite confident that the launch of the iPhone 15 will take place in the first half of September 2023. The Company used to launch its new devices in September for decades, except for the iPhone 12. The release date got also released. According to rumors, iPhone 15 will be released on September 12, 2023. However, all these things are in the initial stage, and we should consider them with a grain of salt.

Release Date of Previous Models

  • iPhone 14: September 16, 2022
  • iPhone 13: September 24, 2021
  • iPhone 12: October 23, 2020
  • iPhone 11: September 20, 2019
  • iPhone XS: September 21, 2018

iPhone 15 Processor

Most probably, iPhone 15 will use the same A16 Bionic chip as the iPhone 14 Pro. However, the new Pro models may include a new A17 chip. These A17 chips might use 3nm chips from long-time chip supplier TSMC, likely improving power consumption and reducing the heat they generate during use.

iPhone 15 Design

The absence of a fingerprint sensor is problematic. Apple will rectify this issue by making its masking-wearing users more recognizable on Face ID.

According to DSCC analyst Ross Young, there are rumors that Apple will bring the Dynamic Island to all iPhone 15 models. However, features like a 120Hz refresh rate or an Always-On Display will come only on Pro models.

It is expected that, like its precedent model, a 6.1-inch iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro to be joined by a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

iPhone Ultra

There are speculations that the Company will extend the branding to the iPhone line with the addition of the iPhone 15 Ultra. iPhone 15 Ultra will be branding used for the “Pro Max” variant. Surely the Company will add some new features to differentiate it. It is not the first time Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max has had a better Camera specification than iPhone 12 Pro.

USC-C Charger

The most significant change in the way we charge our iPhone 15 Models. In the latest development, Apple has confirmed that it must comply with EU laws mandating USB-C chargers on its iPhone.

Gurman says:

“Apple Inc. is testing future iPhone models that replace the current Lightning charging port with the more prevalent USB-C connector, according to people who know the situation, a move that could help the company conform with looming European regulations”.

However, it is unclear whether USB-C will arrive next year or in 2024. Another bigger change is the end of physical buttons. Recently, a report claims that Apple will do away with physical buttons like those on its current iPhone SE Home Button.

Apple will be upping the RAM on the Pro models. The iPhone 15 Pro models will get 8GB RAM, up from 6GB on this year’s Pro iPhones.

iPhone 15 Cameras

It is the first time Apple will add a periscope camera in at least the Pro models — possibly just the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Analyst Jeff Pu claims that the switch would allow 5x optical zoom. It’s possible that the technology could allow for even 10x zoom. However, it is not a new feature. Several Companies like Samsung already use periscope cameras in their premium models.

iPhone 15 Price

It is expected that the iPhone 15 will arrive at the same price as the iPhone 14. However, the new iPhone 15 Ultra will be an expensive model with many exclusive features.

iPhone 15 Expected prices:

iPhone 15: $799
Plus: $899
