PUBG Mobile 1.4 update: List of new features in the latest version

In order to download and install PUBG Mobile 1.4 beta, mobile gamers need to download the APK file of the PUBG Mobile 1.4 beta update. The APK file size is about 606 MB but the size of the resource pack changes on the option that the player selects.

• The new major update includes the new game-enhancing feature called Runic Power gameplay which is a major demand of users from Tencent ( game developers) for a very long time that helps users to choose rune energy type on spawn island.
• In The Battle Royale mode, a New gun is introduced to enhance the game level.
• The developers of the game also included the Armor mode feature in their latest update.
• PUBG mobile also provided enhance graphics, major improvements by solving all major bugs, and much more.

How to download the beta version?

1. Players need to find the APK file of the beta version which they can find on the PUBG Mobile official site. To download the APK, click here. This is the global test application provided by Tencent. The size of the Beta APK is around 606 MB. Additional downloads may take place after the installation of the game.
2. Make sure that you have enabled the ‘Install from other sources’ toggle from your phone settings.  Ignore this step if done already. Install the file then.
3. Once you have installed the game, you will get an option to select the available resource packs – HD Resource pack or Low spec resource pack. Choose according to your phone’s storage limitations.
4. Sign in as a Guest. A dialogue box then appears asking you to enter the ‘Invitation Code’. Upon entering the invitation code, one can then enjoy playing the Beta version 1.4.

It may be recalled that PUBG Mobile India was banned by the Indian government in September 2020 over data privacy concerns. Since then several reports have surfaced claiming that PUBG Mobile India would be relaunched in India in 2021 but PUBG Corporation is yet to make any official statement in this regard.
