  • As PS5 units are expected to be limited, they may get sold out within minutes during the restock

Sony’s PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition gaming consoles have been hard to get ever since they were launched. However, the company has tried its best to keep up with the growing demand and announce frequent restock of the gaming consoles. In another such attempt, Sony’s PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition gaming consoles will be available for pre-orders in India at 12PM today.

Amazon, Sony Center, Vijay Sales, and Games The Shop have confirmed the PS5 restock.  Croma, Flipkart, Prepaid Gamer Card, and Reliance Digital — will also be getting a restock. Retailers like Zupitex and Venus Games and Electronics will not be getting stocks for pre-booking, but it will be worth it to check in with them about console availability after pre-booking has gone live at other outlets. Buyers who pre-order today will also get Rs 499 off on a bundle of the PlayStation 5 and Gran Tourismo 7, which will cost Rs 54,490, as against the Rs 54,990 sticker price.

The Sony Center website shows that those who pre-order the PS5 today, will get deliveries on or around June 30, 2022. However, the website says that there could be delays due to COVID-19 restrictions. While the website shows about 9 days for the console to arrive, we seen in the past that users get their deliveries within a week of placing order.

What Is The Best Retailer to Pre-Book a PS5?

An informal poll conducted on an unofficial PS5 India discord server showed most customers listing Amazon as being the least worrisome throughout the experience. Meanwhile, retailers like Games The Shop have frequently come under fire for not being able to keep their website live during restocks.
