WhatsApp new multi-device capability

  • Users will get a guaranteed cashback of Rs 51 up to five times by sending money to different contacts.
  • The cashback option is found in WhatsApp’s Android beta version
  • The app shows a “Give cash, get Rs 51 back” banner.

WhatsApp Pay is being promoted by the popular chat messenger by offering a rebate of INR 51 for every transaction. In beta channel mode, the promotional offer is available. The money will be deposited immediately into your bank account, which you have linked to the WhatsApp Pay service. Google Pay also offered a cashback of up to ₹1,000 through scratch cards when it first launched in India.

The company commits that the UPI-enabled payments are completely secure and in full compliance with India’s data localization guidelines.

How does the cashback offer work?

WhatsApp has not set any minimum amount for the offer. This means, in total, the user will be able to achieve ₹255 in cashback using this offer.
